A busy healthcare provider based in Whitehaven is looking for a receptionist/administrator to join their team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and will handle various administrative tasks crucial for the day-to-day operations of the surgery. We are looking to appoint a receptionist/administrator to join our busy GP practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, contractors and visitors to the surgery. As well as covering Reception you will also be carrying out general administration tasks related to the work generated within a GP surgery.
Providing general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person, electronically or via the telephone.

Mansion House Surgery is a 7,500 patient training practice based in the centre of Whitehaven. The building is a Georgian built town house which has been structurally modified to provide clinical space and facilities. Whitehaven is an historic seaside town with pockets of deprivation which has experienced regeneration developments over the last few years.

Job Summary
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessingthe appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficientand effective way during opening hours as directed by the practice servicecontract to NHS England.
Provide general assistance to the practice teamand project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors,either in person, electronically or via the telephone
