Job summary

A leading fertility clinic in Plymouth is looking for a dedicated Clinical Scientist to join their team. In this role, you will engage in all aspects of laboratory work related to IVF, ensuring high-quality patient care. The position offers a competitive salary, 33 days of annual leave, and a range of benefits. Successful candidates will be state-registered Clinical Embryologists with ICSI training and a passion for teamwork and continuous improvement. This is a permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule, rotating weekends included.

We have three in house designed scientific developmental pathways to choose from and you’ll benefit from: - Internal training programmes - Funded external courses - A clear path for career progression As a Clinical Embryologist, you’ll play a vital role in all aspects of laboratory work, including oocyte collection, sperm preparation and freezing, insemination and ICSI, fertilisation and embryo assessment, embryo freezing and transfer, and oocyte cryopreservation – all tailored to your level of experience. If you’re trained in biopsy, there are opportunities to get involved there too. If you’re not, we will train you. Biopsy training is an advantage, but not essential. Above all, you bring professionalism, curiosity, and compassion to everything you do. Location/Benefits: This is a permanent position based at Care Fertility Plymouth, 10 William Prance Road, Plymouth, PL6 5WR . The core working days are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm with weekends on rotation.
