Job summary

An NHS foundation trust in the United Kingdom is offering a Clinical Research Fellowship in their Movement Disorders team. This role provides hands-on involvement in international clinical trials and opportunities to develop essential procedural skills. You will collaborate with expert neurologists and have mentorship to start your own research project, with the potential to progress into an MD or PhD. Qualifications

  • MBBS or other recognised equivalent medical qualifications.
  • Full GMC registration at the time of application.
  • MRCP or equivalent.
  • Experience in clinical research/clinical trials.
  • Proven management and administration ability.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an investigator in PPMI and clinical trials.
  • Provide clinical management of trial participants.
  • Maintain accurate study documentation.
  • Initiate and deliver a research project.
  • Engage in data analysis and presentation of findings.

Skills

History & examination skills
Ability to order appropriate investigations
Experience in clinical research/clinical trials
Skilled in performing lumbar punctures
Able to communicate well with patients
Teaching clinical skills

Education

MBBS or equivalent medical qualifications
Full GMC registration
MRCP or equivalent
Good Clinical Practice certificate
