The Role

We are now recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to join our Head Office in Carlisle (situated on Rosehill Industrial Estate).

Working hours: 16:30 until 19:30, Monday to Friday, which equates to 15 hours per week.

The main elements of this role will include:

  • Cleaning all areas of the office to the highest standard including meeting rooms, kitchens, and lavatories
  • Hoovering and mopping floors throughout the office
  • Emptying all bins and recycling containers
  • Ensuring that cleaning products are used and stored safely
  • Following Health & Safety guidance when using cleaning products and equipment
  • Reporting any maintenance issues as necessary

The Candidate

In order to fulfil the responsibilities of the position, we would like candidates to be / have:

  • Previous experience of working as a Cleaner
  • A dedicated team player, and willing to assist colleagues in the team where possible
  • Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and use initiative to solve problems
  • A friendly manner, and positive "can do" attitude
