A local primary school in Basildon is seeking a part-time Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. The role involves working Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 7pm, totaling 17.5 hours per week during term time only. Merrylands Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join the team in January 2026.
The hours will be 3.30pm - 7pm Monday to Friday, 17.5 hours per week (may need to be flexible around school events), term time only for 38 weeks per year.
Salary Scale 1, Point 2, Actual Salary £9,943 per annum (including paid annual leave, which must be taken during school closure periods).
