Job description

The Role

Class 2 Driver – Winsford, Cheshire – Pay £17.00 – £18.00 (Paye). HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to work with our client based in Winsford, CW7. This is an ongoing role removing furniture from office blocks and managed buildings. The Driver will be required to work Tuesday to Saturday (Roll back Saturday), and you will be required to stay away in Hotels and Air B&B’s.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Completing collections of office furniture with a drivers mate
• Driving the class 2 ridgid lorry in a safe manor
• Using pump trucksand operatingtail liftssafely
• lifting a& manual handling if the main part of the shift, this is not a haulage role
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements For The Class 2 Driver

• Valid HGV 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• New pass LGV2 Drivers welcome training and support provided
• HGV LTD drivers welcome
• A high level of physical fitness for loading/unloading

Hours & Pay For The Class 2 HGV Driver

• Start time 07:00am
• Shifts: 810 hours depending on route
• PAYE Pay rate: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour
• LTD Pay Rate: £18.00 – £19.00
• Night out fee £25 per night out (AIR B&B Pre Paid for you)
