• Drive a Class 1 curtainsided vehicle, delivering goods across East of England.
• Be prepared for manual work.
• Shifts usually last 10-12 hours.

Job description

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pay rate: £15.50 – £22.50 per hour

Contract type: Temporary

Location: Stowmarket

Start date: ASAP

We are looking for a Class 1 Driver to start immediately for our growing client base across the IP postcode.

Successful Class 1 Driver Will Receive

• £15.50 basic PAYE
• £18.00 overtime PAYE
• £19.37 basic Umbrella
• £22.50 overtime Umbrella
• 28 days holiday prorated on PAYE
• Upskilling to ADR and/or HIAB after satisfactory probation period
• Referral bonus – Introduce a friend and receive a bonus

What To Expect As a Class 1 Driver

• Want 1‑5 shifts per week? No problem, we have you covered
• Drive a Class 1 curtainsided vehicle, delivering palletised goods across the East of England safely and efficiently
• Must be prepared for manual work
• Days usually 10‑12 hours long

As a Class 1 Driver You Must

• UK HGV Cat C+E licence
• Valid CPC & Digicard
• No more than 6 effective penalty points
• No DG, DD or IN endorsements
