Job description

Rapier Employment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for our busy client in Faverdale, Darlington.

Pay: £17.25ph - £20.38ph (According to day/night schedule below). This is a long–term, ongoing role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to RDCs and stores.
• Store deliveries require unloading using tail lift and cages.
• Perform vehicle checks.
• Shift patterns to suit, with a weekend shift preferred.

Schedule and Pay

• Days: 04:00–09:00 starts. Pay: £17.25ph (PAYE Monday–Friday) or £19.25ph (Saturday & Sunday).
• Nights: 15:00–21:00 starts. Pay: £18.38ph (PAYE Monday–Friday) or £20.38ph (Saturday & Sunday).

Ideal Candidate

• Held HGV C+E licence for at least 12 months.
• Have at least 3 months commercial experience for insurance purposes.
• Can-do attitude.
• No DR10s, no CD10s, no IN10s – no more than 6 points.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification.
