A charitable organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a Church and Community Relationships Coordinator to inspire and activate communities to support children and families. This role involves growing relationships with church leaders, recruiting volunteers, and working collaboratively across the Northern HSC Trust area. A passion for community engagement is vital, along with the ability to work flexibly with a focus on holistic solutions. The Church and Community Relationships Coordinator is a role focused on inspiring, resourcing, and activating individuals and churches to understand the biblical mandate to care for children and families. You will inspire them to respond and play their part in the solution.
The role focuses on growing relationships with church leaders, networks, and individual Christians. It involves stimulating, resourcing, and activating churches to provide a holistic solution that prevents children from entering the care system and increases the number of safe and nurturing homes through fostering, adoption and supported lodgings.
The role also includes recruiting and nurturing a team of volunteer Church Champions across your area, enabling us to maximize our vision and multiply our impact.
You will work as part of the Church and Community Relationships Team spanning Northern Ireland. Ability to travel across the Northern HSC Trust area and occasionally across Northern Ireland is essential.
Interviews for this role are scheduled for 16 January, but we will endeavour to accommodate candidates’ availability.
This is a permanent contract subject to continued partnership funding.
Full time or part time considered (37 hours 30 minutes).
This role is home based with travel within the Northern Trust area and occasional travel across Northern Ireland.
£24,570.00 – £28,280.00, dependent on skills and experience.
36 days annual leave allowance (inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas closure) with the option to purchase additional leave and extra days added to your allowance with length of service. Pro-rated for part-time staff.
