Main duties of the job

In this role, you will:

  • Implement evidence-based therapy and contribute to service development
  • Run groups and work one-to-one with children under the guidance of a Speech and Language Therapist
  • Support families, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams across a range of settings
  • Promote the use of signs, symbols, and communication aids at home and in educational environments
  • Work with children and young people with diverse clinical needs
  • Assist with—and sometimes lead—training sessions and group programs
  • Prepare therapy materials and resources, alongside essential administrative tasks
  • Be part of an integrated service working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and education professionals

The posts available are available in sites across Oxfordshire. You will be working in a variety of locations and settings so the ability to travel between locations is essential.
