Chef Manager – Richmond Villages

Location: Havelock Court Care Home, London SW9 0BB

Employment type: Permanent Full Time, 40 hours/week

Working days: Monday – Sunday (alternate weekends included)

Salary: Up to £17.35 per hour (depending on experience) + £2000 annual bonus

Welcome bonus: £1000

Responsibilities:

  • Use your passion for cooking and experience in a fresh food kitchen to create a varied and nutritional menu aligned with residents' dietary needs.
  • Lead, train and mentor the kitchen team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
  • Maintain high standards and innovate your cooking approaches.
  • Manage mandatory paperwork and comply with COSHH, HACCP, company policies, budgets, orders and deliveries.
  • Plan and cater special events and seasonal activities such as summer fetes, Christmas parties and birthdays.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Innovative mindset with a commitment to high standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
