Lakeside Hotel & Spa on the Southern shores of Windermere (1 mile from Newby Bridge) is owned by Classic Lodges. We have 73 luxury bedrooms, a fine dining restaurant, a brasserie, a pool, a spa and a conference suite ‘overlooking nothing but the lake’. Chef de Partie

We are recruiting for the position of Chef de Partie.

Key Responsibilities and Skills
  • Have good organisational skills and be comfortable working in a high‑level pressured environment.
  • Follow and manage all HACCP procedures with the kitchen management team.
  • Ensure all orders are checked and accounted for freshness and quality.
  • Maintain and improve training and standards consistently.
  • Ensure staffing levels are kept to the correct business needs.
  • Run an organised, efficient, clean section.
  • Enforce the highest levels of hygiene and safety at all times.
  • Have full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • Uphold the team SOPs given to you.
  • Help develop our kitchen garden and growing cycles.
  • Support other team members across the kitchen.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Be committed and hungry to progress and grow your skills.
  • Having a rosette background will be advantageous.
Qualifications

At least a minimum of 2 years’ experience, with an ability to work calmly and professionally while running your own kitchen section. Flexibility, willingness to learn new techniques, and a true team‑player attitude are essential.

Compensation & Working Hours
