The role involves authorising cervical cytology reports, participating in clinical management, and contributing to the NHS Cervical Screening Programme. The candidate must be HCPC registered, possess advanced specialist qualifications in Cervical Cytology, and have extensive experience in Cytopathology. The position offers a competitive salary of £64,455 - £74,896 per annum, with flexible working options available.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist required.
• Extensive post-registration experience in Cytopathology.
• Ability to provide evidence of meeting national standards for screening workload.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of the consultant team in cervical cytology.
• Authorise cervical cytology reports and give clinical management recommendations.
• Participate in cervical cytology mismatch MDT meetings.
