As we expand our services, we are looking to welcome a skilled and motivated Certified Sonographer to our growing team.

Position: Certified Sonographer

Location: Gold Medical Centre, London

Contract Type: Part-Time / Flexible

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, fully accredited sonographer with strong technical abilities, excellent patient communication skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing high-quality ultrasound examinations across a range of specialities (e.g., abdominal, pelvic, vascular, small parts)
  • Ensuring accurate image acquisition, interpretation, and detailed reporting
  • Supporting clinicians with timely diagnostic information for effective patient management
  • Maintaining high standards of patient comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the examination
  • Ensuring equipment is used safely and liaising with technical support where required
  • Managing imaging records and ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards
  • Contributing to continuous improvement, audit activities, and quality assurance processes
Required Qualifications
  • Accredited Sonographer with recognised UK qualifications (e.g., PgCert/PgDip in Medical Ultrasound)
  • Current registration with HCPC or the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP), or evidence of equivalent professional accreditation
  • Proven clinical experience in ultrasound within the UK healthcare system
  • Excellent technical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Professionalism, discretion, and commitment to high-quality patient care
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with clinic-based or private healthcare ultrasound services
  • Competence in advanced or specialised ultrasound examinations
  • Familiarity with digital imaging systems and clinical reporting software
  • Additional spoken languages are an advantage
