Overview

Location: Lutheran Community at Telford - 12 Lutheran Home Dr, Telford, PA 18969

Pay: CNAs start at $22.00/hour + Shift Differential for evenings and upgraded weekend differential

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to residents during the evening shift.
• Work closely with the nursing team to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Provide direct care by performing basic nursing skills as directed.
• Begin shift with pocket care plans/worksheets and receive shift report; prioritize care with coworkers in the assigned neighborhood based on resident needs.
• Document activities and inform the nurse of findings or observations (e.g., skin tears, bruises, accidents, changes in status).
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mouth care, toileting, transfers).
• Ensure competency by completing state-mandated hours of in-services (12 hours annually) and 6 hours of dementia training.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment; uphold a friendly, professional attitude with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Attend Resident Care Conferences, neighborhood meetings, and in-services as required.
• Assist with vital signs as needed.
