A leading retail company is looking for a Carrier Coordinator based in Rochdale. The role involves overseeing trailer collections and managing daily operations between warehouses and carriers. Key responsibilities include monitoring trailer schedules, attending meetings to ensure smooth operations, and maintaining records for informed decision-making. Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Role Overview: The Carrier Coordinator is responsible for monitoring trailer collections in and out of all JD warehouses, as well as any operational day to day processes between warehouse and carrier. As Carrier Coordinator they will be responsible for ensuring trailer fill rate and utilisation is recorded against plan and attending daily calls with peers to maintain or improve this metric. The Carrier Coordinator will maintain the trailer schedule and ensure records are up to date to allow for informed decision making.
