Newbold Church School and The Nest Nursery, a warm and welcoming single form entry school with a strong community spirit, is seeking a friendly and committed caretaker to join our team. We also have a school-based Nursery, The Nest, where we lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning.

As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining our premises, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting the smooth operation of our school. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is reliable and ensures the school site is safe and secure every day.
  • Takes pride in keeping the premises clean, tidy, and well‑maintained.
  • Can respond quickly to emergencies and solve problems calmly and efficiently.
  • Works well with staff, contractors, and the wider school community.
  • Follows health and safety procedures and promotes a safe environment for everyone.
  • Is flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting our school’s ethos and values.
