We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join our Student Experience and Support Department as a Careers and Welfare Site Leader on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Careers Professional to lead and co‑ordinate the delivery of our Careers & Welfare hub, supporting learners’ enrolment, retention, and progression. You’ll organise career services tailored to curriculum needs, develop industry‑focused activities, and engage with external stakeholders to maximise positive destinations. This role involves collaborating with a range of college teams, using labour market insights, and ensuring high‑quality advice and resources that meet national standards.
Our Openshaw campus is a vibrant, modern hub of learning, equipped with outstanding, industry‑standard facilities designed to inspire both staff and students. Located just outside Manchester city centre, the campus offers a wide range of vocational and academic courses, with specialist spaces for areas such as construction, engineering, health, and digital.
The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16‑19‑year‑olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester.
