Overview

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Letham Park for a contract of 33.75 or 45 hours a week.

Responsibilities

Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, supporting and encouraging meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. Night shift Care Assistants participate in person-centred activities, particularly through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents. The role is to ensure the highest quality, person-centred care for all residents and to support the delivery of each individual care plan. The role promotes independence and choice, ensuring residents\' voices are heard in all aspects of care and support. Key elements include assisting with personal care, promoting a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration, supporting meaningful connections and creating 1:1 meaningful activities. An essential aspect is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion. You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements
