Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Arundel, Sussex)

£15.20 hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Weekday/Night shifts available

At Harmony Healthcare, we believe exceptional care is delivered by exceptional people. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young infant in Arundel . Your care will enable them to live safely, confidently and with dignity in their own home.

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client

Our client is a cheerful and sociable one year old who lives at home with her parents, twin sister and two cats. She enjoys interaction, music, attending baby classes and going on the swings at the park.

Our client has a tracheostomy and requires continuous 1:1 supervision from staff to:

  • Monitor her airway and overall wellbeing at all times
  • Respond promptly to any clinical needs including routine tracheostomy care
  • Provide safe, developmentally appropriate play and encourage engagement
  • Support her participation in activities at home and in the community
  • Act quickly and confidently in emergency situation

A carer who is proactive, friendly and confident will thrive in this role.

Clinical Requirements

You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan. These may include:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • PEG Feeding
  • Personal Care
  • Medication Support

Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided by our Clinical Team, so you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.

Shifts Available

We offer consistent and predictable shifts to support your work–life balance and financial stability.
Include specific shift pattern here:

Mon – Sun: 08:00AM – 20:00PM OR 22:00PM – 08:00AM

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.
