Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Experience as a Night Care Assistant for 36 hours per week.
• Flexibility for roles as a Care Assistant or Bank Care Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support for clients.
• Assist with personal care routines.
• Help clients with medication management.
• Support clients with preparing and serving meals.
• Perform light cleaning tasks as needed.
• Assist clients with mobility and independence.
• Engage clients in social activities.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Night Care Assistant role at 36 hours per week - working from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
• Care Assistant role at 42 hours per week - working from 8am to 8pm to include alternative weekends
• Bank Care Assistantt role with the flexibility to work day, night and weekend shifts as and when required

A day in the life of a Care assistant:

• Companionship- Providing support , companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care- supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals – Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks-light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility- Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
