Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Research Fellow in Cardiology to engage in research focusing on thrombotic risk associated with cardiac conditions. This is a 12-month fixed-term position aimed at candidates pursuing an MD or PhD. The role includes running clinical research projects and providing cardiac services. Candidates must hold relevant medical qualifications and experience in cardiology.

Qualifications

  • Hold a current licence to practice from the General Medical Council.
  • Broad range of experience in Cardiology, at least 12 months at Core Training level or higher.
  • Experience in Echocardiography.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day running of clinical research projects.
  • Contribute to the design of new clinical research projects.
  • Deliver cardiac services to research participants and general cardiology patients.

Postgraduate academic degree
