A construction and engineering company in Glastonbury is seeking a Capital Works Manager to lead the planning and delivery of Capital Works schemes. The role involves coordinating development, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates have strong experience in highways and civil engineering, alongside skills in contractor management and client liaison. The position offers a permanent full-time contract with some remote flexibility.
We're looking for a Capital Works Manager to join our highways team based in Glastonbury, Somerset. In this role you'll take ownership of planning, programming and delivery of Capital Works schemes including drainage, footway resurfacing and earthworks within the Somerset Highways Term Service Contract. A full driving licence is essential as you'll be traveling between offices, depots and sites across Somerset

Location: Glastonbury, Somerset – regular travel to the office is required, with some flexibility for remote working. You will also need to visit offices, depots, and sites across Somerset.
Hours: Permanent fulltime 40 hours per week
