A leading construction firm in the Yorkshire area seeks an experienced Project Manager (Cabling) to oversee major infrastructure projects. The role requires excellent project delivery skills, effective team management, and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders. This position offers the chance to manage high-quality cabling schemes effectively, ensuring safety and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission & Distribution team is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager (Cabling) to help deliver major infrastructure projects across the Yorkshire area including Sheffield and Scunthorpe.
As a key part of our team, you’ll play a leading role in planning, managing, and delivering high‑quality cabling schemes safely, sustainably, and on time. You’ll have full accountability for project success — from design and delivery through to commissioning and handover.

Balfour Beatty’s Power Transmission & Distribution teams work with regional, national and international electricity network owners and operators to provide technical engineering solutions across the full spectrum of the electricity grid, including overhead lines, cabling, substations and distribution networks. From scoping and feasibility, to design, construction and on‑going maintenance, our in‑house experts, flexible resources and industry‑leading innovations support customers in the development of some of the UK’s most ambitious power transmission and distribution projects.
