About The Procurement Team

The Procurement Team strategically sources and manages raw materials, packaging, and components for high-volume production. Their responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and evaluating the procurement process to maintain profitability and meet high consumer demand.

Buyer (Tactical)

Reporting to the Buying Manager, the Buyer is responsible for negotiating packaging requirements for Beauty Brands, developing supplier relationships, sourcing new suppliers, and maintaining a low-risk supplier base. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating accurate packaging briefs for NPD projects
• Meeting KPI targets for all procurement activities
• Managing risk mitigation in supply chain
• Obtaining and evaluating quotations within budget
• Negotiating payment terms and transport costs
• Ensuring sourced components meet project requirements
• Providing project updates and escalation points
• Managing samples and compatibility testing
• Identifying and sharing new supplier opportunities
• Keeping price books updated on Sage X3
• Supporting administrative tasks and effective communication
• Adhering to health & safety protocols and promoting a positive work environment

Role Requirements
