Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a well‑organised, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual to join our 16+ Supported Accommodation Staying Close Multi‑Disciplinary Team (MDT) as a Business Support Administrator. This is a fixed term for an initial 12 month. This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at the office in Ollerton every Monday as a minimum.
The Staying Close MDT consists of mental health specialists, wellbeing practitioners and resilience workers. The team provides support and interventions to prevent children and young people aged 16-25 living in the Councils supported accommodation from feeling overwhelmed with the day to day challenges of managing their wellbeing, childhood trauma or self‑medicating with substances.
As a Business Support Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to the MDT workers providing services to Children and Young People aged 16-25 accommodated throughout Nottinghamshire. The role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information in accordance with GDPR.
If you are looking for a rewarding administrative role, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated team.
This post is also available as a secondment opportunity to existing Nottinghamshire County Council employees. You must seek approval from your line manager before applying.
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full‑time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
Nottinghamshire County Council strives to ensure that it goes beyond the requirements of the Equalities Act and prides itself on being accredited as a Disability Confident Leader Organisation.
Therefore, the County Council encourages applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, religion, belief, pregnancy and maternity status, age or sexual orientation.
