We’relooking for a part time (30hpw) Business Support Coordinator to join the team atSpeke Hall.
Reporting to the Operations Manager,you’llbe part of a friendly, dynamic team based at Speke Hall, as well asassistingcolleagues at The Beatles’ Childhood Homes,The Hardmans’Houseand Formby.
It’san exciting time to join the team aswe’refocused on growing our business and improving the services we offer our visitors and colleagues. Ourplacestell stories from the Tudor period right through to the Swinging Sixties andthere’snever a dull day working here.
Our sites are busy and varied. Our friendly, outgoing teams are passionate about the work we do to conserve these special places and to share the stories with a wide range of visitors.We’relooking forsomeoneto work with us whoisenthusiastic, flexible, enjoys variety anda team player.
Whichever property you are based at and whatever role you play on site, standards of excellence in customer service and visitor engagement are essential. Some of our busiest days are at weekends and on Bank Holidays, so all staff are expected to take part in a regular weekend and Bank Holiday workingas well as be part of the Duty Management rota for Speke Hall.
At the heart of everything we do on site is conservation and visitor experience, to look after these special places for ever, for everyone.Working as part of the property team,you’llbethe first point of contact forvisitors contacting us by phone or online.You’llalsobe responsible foraccuraterecord keeping and data management,financial managementincluding banking,andsupporting the team with group bookings.You’llbe based at Speke Hall but also support the wider property group including the Beatles’ Childhood Homes,The Hardmans’HouseandFormby.
You’llpromotethegreat workbeing done on sitebygathering content for andsharing newsletters and upcoming event informationin and around the local community,as well as acrossthe site at various visitor touchpoints.
You’lluse your strong people skills toestablishgood working relationships with property colleagues, as well asproviding afantastic experience to visitors whether in person or via digital media.
This role supports a busygroup ofpropertiesthat welcomesover1.6 million visitors every year.We’relooking for someonewho’shighly organised, withgreat attention to detail.
