About the Role

Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement? Compass Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Business Improvement Lead to play a pivotal role in transforming business processes and practices across our organisation. What You’ll Do

As a Business Improvement Lead, you will:

  • Analyse Processes: Assess current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
  • Lead Projects: Manage improvement initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Use Data to Drive Decisions: Apply data analysis to measure impact and inform strategies.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate across departments and secure buy-in for change.
  • Champion Change: Develop and implement change management strategies, inspiring teams to embrace new ways of working.
  • Train and Develop: Create and deliver training materials to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Integrate Best Practice: Benchmark against industry standards and explore cross-sector opportunities.
  • Report Progress: Establish KPIs and reporting systems to track success.
  • Think Strategically: Support the development of an external-facing business consulting function.
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Essential
  • Experienced in process improvement and transformation within a large, multi-site organisation.
  • Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Engineering, Business Improvement or similar.
  • Skilled in project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical, innovative, and adaptable to ambiguity.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to influence and lead change.
Desirable
  • Background in management consulting.
  • Familiarity with process mining tools (e.g., Aris) and SAP.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean or similar methodologies.
