Job description

NORNORM is a fast‑growing circular scale‑up on a mission to redefine the workspace industry through a subscription model that’s better for people, businesses, and the planet.

We’re expanding rapidly across Europe, backed by a leading player in the furniture industry and renowned growth equity investors, and the UK is one of our key growth markets.

To fuel this growth, we’re looking for a Business Development Representative who’s eager to connect with potential customers, build strong relationships, and drive new business through proactive outreach.

What you’ll do:
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers across the UK market;
  • Generate leads and nurture prospects through calls, emails, and digital channels;
  • Conduct research, identify prospects, and manage the sales funnel from outreach through qualification, follow‑ups, and meeting booking;
  • Manage the early stages of the sales funnel: outreach, qualification, follow‑up, and booking high‑quality meetings for the Account Executive;
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead progression in our CRM; and
  • Represent the company professionally in first‑contact conversations, on phone, in writing and at in‑person events.

A competitive mindset is rewarded: your performance directly drives both business growth and your own success with performance‑based incentives.

What we’re looking for:

As a person, you are persistent, self‑motivated, and driven by a strong growth mindset. You communicate with confidence, deliver a compelling message and build rapport quickly. You're also comfortable networking at events and speaking in client‑facing settings when needed.

In addition, you may have:

  • Experience from a hunting sales role, ideally cold calling or appointment setting
  • The ability to run high‑volume outreach with energy and consistency.
  • Strong communication skills — confident, clear, and persuasive.
  • Research & lead identification skills, including the ability to map accounts and find decision‑makers.
  • A structured approach to your work, ensuring consistent follow‑up and pipeline momentum.
  • A resilient attitude: you stay motivated even when faced with rejection.
Why Join Us?

Joining NORNORM means being part of something bigger. You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues across Europe, learn from experienced commercial leaders, and grow in an environment that values curiosity, courage, and collaboration. You’ll play a key role in driving our growth, helping to scale circularity across the workspace industry.

Practicalities

This role is office‑first: We value flexibility, but we believe strongly in the energy, collaboration, and fast learning that comes from being part of a high‑performing sales floor. Being together accelerates development, boosts motivation, and ensures that our outbound engine runs at full speed — especially in a fast‑paced hunting role like this.
To apply, you’ll need to have the right to work in the UK, as we’re unfortunately not able to offer visa or relocation support.
