Business Development Representative - Skematic UK

Skematic, a business unit of Financial Recovery Technologies, is a rapidly growing startup providing a comprehensive Compliance workflow management solution in the RegTech space. Primarily serving hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital firms since 2021, Skematic is breaking barriers to offer a solution to drive efficiencies for compliance teams navigating the ever-changing complexities of regulation in capital markets. We are seeking a Business Development Representative in the UK to drive Skematic's regional sales efforts and grow our market share in EMEA in the compliance space.

Specifically, as a Business Development Representative - UK at Skematic, you will:

• Drive revenue growth by generating leads and securing meetings so our sales execs can focus on closing deals
  • Make high volume of cold calls each day to prospects.
  • Grow Skematic’s market share by seeking out opportunities and converting prospects into qualified leads.
  • Set appointments for AE’s & CRO and track metrics and performance against set targets.
• Work internally with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure proper quality and quantity of all communications with prospects.
• Maintain a high level of competence using sales sequencing and CRM tools.

Successful hire will have a clear career trajectory to a Sales Executive position with the company. To get there, a candidate should possess:

• Previous experience in a high-volume outbound sales role (preferred);
• Experience working in Financial Services, RegTech, Compliance, or Fintech and selling to those clientele (preferred);
• A desire to make money for Skematic and themselves;
• A track record of high achievement and the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
• Self-starter mentality with an ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN GREATER LONDON.

Salary: base salary is experience dependent and can range from £48,000 - £58,000 a year + commission.
