Overview
Role within Environment & HSR. The candidate will support marketing and business development activity to generate new work within those divisions, working with the Senior BD Director, BD Assistant, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing: contribute to marketing campaigns and content generation (website content, reference project case studies, thought leadership articles, podcasts, social media). Collaborate with the central Marketing team to raise profile and drive new sales and growth.
- Event and digital activity: support webinars/events, monitor campaign success, report on performance, and identify areas for improvement. Experience with webinar platforms and AI for market research is advantageous.
- Client Relationship Management: coordinate with key clients and frameworks to support relationship management and new work generation; develop market intelligence and client material for framework reviews; report progress to inform management.
- Bids, Tenders and Enquiries: support bidding activity with the central Bid team on large cross-disciplinary bids; assist in proposal content and materials (CVs, case studies) and coordinate inputs from Environment/HSR disciplines; gather market intelligence and analyze data to identify opportunities.
- Client Events: assist in sourcing venues, guest lists, invitations, logistics, attendance, and post-event follow-up.
- Reporting: monitor and report on marketing activity and work generation; support monthly marketing progress reports, ROI, and budget monitoring; track SEO and website performance in response to campaigns.
Role Details
- Location: hybrid role; minimum two days per week in the office. Flexible to be based from any Tetra Tech RPS Consulting office.
- Environment split: approximately 70% Environment and 30% HSR.
Person Specification and Qualifications
- Experience with marketing campaigns, content generation, and multi-disciplinary BD in professional services is preferred; strong candidates with at least 75% of requirements encouraged to apply.
- Core capabilities approach to skills, responsibilities, and experience; understanding of minimum expertise levels as defined by the role.
- Mandatory Training & Qualification: prior work experience in professional services consultancy.
- Beneficial: proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM/lead management tools, ability to build rapport, and relevant qualifications (e.g., Institute of Marketing); environmental/engineering/planning consultancy experience is desirable but not essential; UK driving license advantageous.
