We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager to drive sponsorship revenue across Questex's Hospitality and Operational Real Estate Division and Travel portfolio. This unique role will focus on engaging with destinations, public sector organisations, and investment and trade promotion agencies worldwide—entities committed to enhancing their countries\' tourism and hospitality sectors by boosting travel demand and attracting inbound investment.
Questex Hospitality leads the global hospitality investment community with flagship events such as the International Hospitality Investment Forum (IHIF EMEA), The Annual Hotel Conference (AHC), and the Resort & Residential Hospitality Forum (R&R), alongside editorial platform hospitalityinvestor.com. Our Travel division features influential brands including Travel Agent and Luxury Travel Advisor, as well as high-level forums such as The Ultra Summit. In addition, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling media solutions to European hotels and hotel companies seeking to profile themselves to major travel buyers and agencies. Given the specialised nature of working with destination marketing organisations, public agencies, and investment and trade promotion agencies, this role requires a consultative sales approach, a deep understanding of economic development and tourism promotion strategies, and the ability to cultivate long-term partnerships with diverse global stakeholders.
