About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Business Analyst to join our Business Transformation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across business and technical teams, driving process improvements, solution design, and change initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into actionable requirements, supporting solution delivery, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management (RLMT): Build and maintain strong relationships across business and technical teams, managing expectations and ensuring business readiness.
  • Business Analysis (BUAN): Lead the identification, definition, and documentation of business problems and opportunities. Elicit, prioritise, and manage business requirements with full traceability to objectives and processes. Conduct gap analysis and define current/future state processes.
  • Business Process Improvement (BPRE): Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Work with business owners to define measurable benefits and success criteria.
  • Solution Architecture (ARCH): Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Architects to evaluate solution options, ensuring alignment with business needs and maintaining solution integrity throughout delivery.
  • Change Implementation Planning and Management (CIPM): Contribute to business readiness planning, change impact assessments, UAT planning, test coverage, and post-implementation support.
  • Requirements Definition and Management (REQM): Own the analysis workstream within projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with project goals. Evaluate change requests against requirements and benefits.
  • Risk Management (BURM): Identify and document risks and issues, ensuring they are managed to resolution.
Technical Requirements
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in business process modelling (BPMN, UML) and creating process maps to industry standards.
  • Ability to select appropriate BA tools and techniques depending on project methodology and objectives.
  • Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and requirements tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps, Miroboard, Quality Center).
  • Experience working closely with third parties, implementation partners, and vendors.
