Job Title: Business Administrator – Equity Release Advice

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: London / Hybrid / Plymouth

Travel: The role requires ad hoc travel to Plymouth office

Closing Date: 26th January 2026

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Administrator to join our team. This role is reporting directly to the Head of ERA and will provide administration support and coordination for the ERA Function in line with priorities and key activity across the Function. Supporting the ERA Leadership team to deliver the business plan and strategic objectives.

About the Role:
  • Responsible for the support in the tracking of the ERA plans against priorities and ensure regular dialogue with the function and champions
  • Assist in day-to-day function budget management raising requisitions and supporting management of the process and end of year cycles
  • Assist on the coordination and planning for all ERA activities, meetings and events including monitoring and maintenance throughout the year, including the review of actions and paper submissions.
  • Provide range of administration support for the Senior leadership team, building a good working knowledge of the Royal London people process and practices.
About You:
  • Broad range of knowledge and experience gained through working within a management team, preferably within a corporate function.
  • Strong communication skills in verbal, written, numerical and presentation format with strong attention to detail
  • Expertise in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network, build and maintain positive relationships (Internally and externally)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • A willingness to own / tackle problems as they arise, able to identify issues for upward referral
  • Flexible attitude to work and to take on new projects
  • Professional manner and sensitivity in managing confidential information
  • Previous experience supporting budget management and tracking, including experience of using procurement systems to support cost management (not essential).
