A construction training company is seeking a Business Administrator Construction Site Apprentice to join their team in Sheffield. This role involves site administration tasks including document management, office duties, and health & safety compliance. The successful candidate will gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification and has opportunities for full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

  • Filing and managing H&S documents/design information/project documents.
  • Document control.
  • Managing the receipt of drawings and keeping A3/A1 printed drawings up to date.
  • General office duties (assisting the project team with admin tasks).
  • Taking minutes at meetings.
  • Setting up meetings.
  • Scanning and uploading delivery tickets.
  • Monitoring the project Health & Safety files.
  • Ensuring timely reviews of documents are carried out.
  • Dealing with enquiries.
  • Maintaining electronic information.
  • Completing local spend reports.
  • Supporting the team with a variety of administration.

TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIPS IN CONSTRUCTION LIMITED

TrAC are working with a well established M&E contractor to appoint an apprentice to join their team, to work in their site office on a major redevelopment site in central Cambridge as a Site Administrator, gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification & be involved in all aspects of site administration.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to move into a Business Administration Apprenticeship specifically within construction.

Working within a construction site office, the daily role will include:

  • Filing and managing H&S documents/design information/project documents
  • Document control
  • Managing the receipt of drawings and keeping A3/A1 printed drawings up to date
  • General office duties (assisting the project team with admin tasks)

About the Training
  • The apprentice will receive regular online training sessions from their tutor and carry out assignment work as well as keep an up-to-date portfolio as evidence of their progression on the training programme

You should be aware that you will be placed with a host employer but you will not be employed by them. Your placement may change during the course of your apprenticeship but TrAC will employ you throughout, as well as continuing to support you into employment or further learning at the end of your apprenticeship.
