We provide a full range of property services to the Council. Building maintenance and project work is a key part of our service and this role is central to this. You will be reporting to the senior first response officer within the Buildings and Capital Projects Team
Primary purpose and scope of the job involve working as part of the Building & Capital Projects Team, assisting and supporting the delivery of all aspects of planned preventative and reactive building maintenance. This will be over the traditional five weekdays for a total of 37 hours each week. There will be direct responsibility for the management of essential statutory compliance processes and documents. The post enables a detailed involvement in a range of building repair, maintenance and statutory compliance and engaging with clients and contractors.
We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in a similar working environment commensurate with the level of this post. You should be able to provide evidence of using similar computer-based programmes such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases and a clear familiarity with PC's, keyboard etc. You should also be familiar working with asset management data and associated systems (e.g. Tribal, SAP, Civica / Comino, Maximo etc) and have a minimum of 5 GCSEs including maths and English.
