A leading Broadcast Technology Company in the UK is seeking a Systems Project Engineer to join their Broadcast Projects team for a 16-month FTC. You'll bridge traditional broadcasting and IT networking, designing and integrating IP media solutions for live broadcasts across multiple brands. Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing and deploying IP-based media solutions in live production environments.
• Effective communication skills to work across different technical departments.
• Self‑motivated with strong timekeeping and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and Configure Arista switches for media over IP applications.
• Troubleshoot IGMP Snooping and PIM configurations.
• Implement PTP for audio and video synchronization.
• Configure and manage SMPTE 2110 Multicast flows.
• Collaborate with IT networking teams.

Skills

Proficiency in designing IP-based media solutions

Experience in project delivery within a broadcast environment

Deep understanding of IT networking principles

Knowledge of NMOS (IS-04/IS-05)

Familiarity with streaming platforms and protocols

Effective communication skills
