Job summary

Job Description

The successful candidate will undertake the daily supervision of the Breakfast Club, developing and maintaining high standards throughout, to ensure the welfare of children at all times. They will provide safe, creative and stimulating play activities to meet the needs of children.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Engagingchildren in purposeful play and fitness activities.
  • Supervisingand interacting with children , encouraging positive socialskills.
  • Beingaware of the school’s policies and procedures and ensuring these arefollowed.
  • Creatinga safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all.
  • Beingvigilant and reporting any concerns immediately by following schoolpolicies.
  • Reflectingon practice and daily routines, making changes where necessary to ensurethe needs of the children are met.
  • Formingexcellent working relationships with parents/carers, communicatingeffectively, and sharing information.
  • Workingflexibly, assisting, and supporting colleagues where needed.
  • Dealingwith accidents, ensuring there are no safety hazards to others andreporting according to school policies and procedures.
