Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree, Level 3 NVQ, or equivalent industry experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • A hands-on problem solver who enjoys practical work and getting things done.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems.
  • A collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of maintaining and enhancing the mechanical performance of bioreactor systems.
  • Collaborate with the Bioprocessing team to spot and solve bottlenecks.
  • Play a key role in keeping the facility running smoothly through hands-on support.
  • Contribute mechanical insight to help shape the next generation of bioprocessing technology.
