Overview

The client is Mars, a recent client win for Starcom, the account is set to be incredibly dynamic to deliver on performance objectives of lead generation, traffic and awareness to its consumer audience. Activity runs across Social, Search and Programmatic channels across the EMEA region. The role of the Paid Search Account Manager requires a highly motivated & technical person to lead day-to-day strategic management across the portfolio’s business, overseeing strategy development and execution whilst simultaneously delivering immaculate client service. This individual will work on managing the activation across Paid Search platforms (Google + Bing). You will be reporting into an Account Director and manage account executives in London and India.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consistent performance and results for EMEA campaigns
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client’s products and services, competition, industry and marketing objectives; and be able to translate them into social and search strategies
    • Overseeing budgeting process, creation of projections and allocation with internal account teams
  • Serve as day-to-day contact for mid-level clients
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills – be the connective tissue between teams
    • Contribute to client presentations and meetings, including presentation of data and results
  • Establish practices to ensure both consistency in team-work, along with flexibility to flourish under new ideas
    • Identify gaps/inefficiencies in a timely manner and create improved processes
    • Grow best practice training to inspire knowledge sharing within immediate team and outside
    • Taking ownership of product strategy and testing
  • Campaign Management
    • Launch, manage, and optimise PPC campaigns across platforms such as SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.
    • Monitor and adjust bids, budget allocation, and targeting to maximise ROI under modern search setup with AI technology.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting
    • Analyse campaign performance metrics and provide key actionable insights
    • Prepare regular reports and support QBRs to communicate results, trends, and recommendations
  • A/B Testing and Optimisation
    • Develop and conduct A/B tests for performance improvement and growth
  • Client Collaboration and Strategy Development
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, providing strategic advice and insights
    • Maintain ongoing communication to ensure alignment and satisfaction
  • Industry Knowledge and Tools
    • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
    • Utilise tools for automation, reporting, and optimisation
Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced Manager, to lead the strategic and tactical execution of the Paid Search campaigns. The dynamic and fast-paced nature of Biddable demands a mix of analytical and creative skills in order to drive results across our client portfolios. Experience in managing Search campaigns is essential, with knowledge in Social/Programmatic also beneficial. People management experience is desired.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the digital industry and technology. They will be interested in understanding how consumers think, feel and behave in relation to products services; and in how technology can enable brands to engage with and influence this behaviour. The individual will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. They will be a team player who is keen to learn and is results-driven. They will be ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within their accounts and be eager to share their knowledge with the wider team and be an effective mentor and role model to their team.

Pre-requisites for the role
  • Proven Paid Search experience
  • Proficiency in paid search platforms (i.e. SA360, Google Ads, Bing Ads)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills for data interpretation and performance optimisation
  • Exceptional client relationship management and organisational skills, capable of prioritising and managing multiple tasks seamlessly and accurately
  • Experience of team development and management, ensuring high-quality outputs and instilling a culture of curiosity, learning and growth
  • Experience across at least 2 disciplines (Paid Social/Paid Search/Programmatic) desired
  • Creative and inquisitive mind
  • Team training and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, across multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives
  • Performics values and ethics – Is open to new ideas and change, curious, and collaborative; actively builds his/her knowledge, skills and digital expertise in order to promote and deliver effective campaigns ; desire to contribute, above and beyond role, to the agency as a whole
