Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English.
  • Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills.
  • Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Produce the best barista coffee for staff and visitors.
  • Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.
  • Stock and rotate retail items regularly.
  • Set up location in the mornings for daily operation.
  • Manage payments and cash handling.
  • Conduct daily stock takes of products available.

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: 13.13
Hours: 35 per week

A co-educational specialist residential college of further education based in the English city of Hereford. Catering for around 100 students and teachers. We offers a Delivered breakfast, lunch and Supper. This is a Monday to Sunday operation with lots of hospitality. Additional benefits of this location is free parking and discounted gym membership for on-site facilities.

We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts in Hereford.

Key responsibilities:

  • To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
  • Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
  • Manage payments and any cash handling.
  • Daily stock takes of products available

You will have the following skills:

  • An all-round team player
  • Personable, good sense of humour, fun.

Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
