Want to work in a children’s home that makes a positive, lasting difference to children’s lives?
Compass Children’s Homes are largely rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and are looking for people like you to join our brilliant team. Whether you have experience as a Residential or Youth Worker, or you are new to residential care, we need determined, resilient people to be long‑lasting, significant adults in a child’s life.
We invest heavily in ensuring homes are beautifully decorated and looked after so children can express their characters, feel safe and enrich their lives. Each of our homes receives generous budgets to provide holidays abroad, recreational activities and special events.
Direct therapeutic work is offered, driven by industry‑leading psychologists and practice. Bespoke systems reduce paperwork, allowing you to spend more time working directly with children. Detailed and supportive training is provided through a ‘Skills to Care’ induction and a two‑week classroom program plus shadow shifts.
Please note that you must be 22 years old or above to apply as per children’s homes regulations and you must have a valid driving licence.
The recruitment process is rigorous to maintain a safe workforce, including references and an enhanced DBS check. Successful applicants will adhere to a strict code of conduct regarding behaviour at all times.
