The Liverpool Central School District is in search of a full-time Regular Substitute Teacher (RST) for a middle school (grades 6-8) band position. Job responsibilities will include 6th-grade band, 7/8 band, and small group lessons. The successful candidate should be able to display a high level of performance on their primary instrument, as well as proficiency on secondary instruments. They should also possess and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of highly effective instrumental music pedagogy in both large ensemble and small-group settings. All candidates should possess a working knowledge of the NYS Learning Standards for the Arts and hold the appropriate NYS certification. The anticipated start date is mid-December and will last for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.
