Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post-registration experience, including one year at Band 5.
• Up-to-date awareness of mental health legislation, ethical issues, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to professional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of service users in partnership with them and their families.
• Formulate and implement personalized care and support plans based on individual needs.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor service users for side effects and responses.
• Carry out physical health checks, including monitoring blood pressure, glucose, and weight.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records and prepare relevant reports as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve the quality of service user experiences.
• Respond to crises and emotionally demanding situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Lead the clinical care for an assigned caseload of service users.
