Overview

Turneo is revolutionising how hotel groups sell experiences by providing a seamless digital platform to connect guests with in-house and third-party experiences. We empower hotels to enhance guest satisfaction and drive incremental revenue through curated activities, excursions, and services. We are looking for a Backend developer to help us build our Experience Management System.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the Engineering and Product teams to develop new product features and improvements
• Build robust and scalable systems to support the Turneo platform
• Develop AI Agents and Agentic workflows within the product
• Design and implement APIs that integrate with third-party platforms and services
• Integrate external APIs into Turneo platform
• Develop unit and integration tests for high-quality codebase
• Participate in code reviews and give constructive feedback
• Help triage and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner
• Continuously explore new technologies and approaches to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability

What WeLooking For

• BSc in Computer Science (or similar) and 5+ years of experience in software development, working in teams
• Highly proficient in backend development, especially in Python
• Experience in building agentic flows with tools such as LangChain
• Ability to think from first principles to design solutions for which blueprints don’t exist
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English (we’re an international team and work in English)
• Strong work ethic and takes pride in the work they do, setting a high bar in quality and performance for themselves and others
