Job description

STS Aviation Services is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for B2 Licensed Engineers to join our team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role as we open our new hangar and continue our journey as the leading UK MRO provider.

Position Summary

As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you will perform and certify maintenance, repair, and modification work on Boeing 777 aircraft, ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulations and the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for both technical execution and the supervision of maintenance teams.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft within company approvals
  • Certify maintenance activity in accordance with Part 145 requirements and company procedures
  • Provide leadership and supervision to mechanics and support staff, setting high standards of maintenance execution by example
  • Ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently, on time, and to customer satisfaction, supporting both on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability
Qualifications
  • EASA / UK CAA Part 66 B2 License (type rated on Boeing 777)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed technician
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal, and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom
