Job summary

A leading airline company is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer based at Glasgow Airport. B1 Licensed Engineer GLA

easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team is known across the industry for its innovative, solution driven approach. With a proud reputation for delivering Europe’s highest technical dispatch reliability recognised by Airbus you’ll be part of a dynamic team working at the heart of our airline’s operation.

We are recruiting for a B1 Licensed Engineer at Manchester Airport to play a crucial role in maintaining our growing fleet, which includes the latest generation NEO aircraft and the A321.

What you’ll be doing
  • Carry out all scheduled maintenance tasks as assigned by the Duty Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor in line with approved documentation.
  • Use your technical expertise and hands‑on skills to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Accurately use aircraft maintenance documentation and computer‑based reporting systems.
  • Supervise small teams when required by the operation.
  • Ensure all activities meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.
What you’ll need to bring
  • UK Part 66 B1 license and relevant aircraft authorisation.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
  • Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in a line maintenance environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team at all levels.
  • Flexibility to meet operational needs and a proactive attitude toward change and improvement.
  • Sound working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.

Location & Hours

This role is a full time permanent role based at Glasgow Airport working NNNN 10.75‑hour shifts. Shift pattern will be 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet's headquarters or network locations.
