B1 Licensed Engineer - BRS
Join easyJet’s renowned Engineering and Maintenance team and be part of delivering Europe’s highest technical dispatch reliability, recognised by Airbus. As a Licensed Engineer, you’ll work on cutting-edge NEO aircraft, including the A321, ensuring top aircraft performance through scheduled maintenance and task supervision. You'll bring strong technical knowledge, hands‑on skills, and experience with maintenance documentation and digital reporting systems. As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring work meets required standards and supports efficient, safe operations. Responsibilities include recording and issuing certificates of release, prioritising tasks, and managing resources to ensure timely and safe flight departures. You’ll inspect parts, supervise workmanship quality, and ensure tools and facilities meet safety standards. You’ll report delays, defects, and incidents, assist with departures, take shift handovers if needed, and ensure smooth transition of tasks to the next shift, maintaining accurate records and ordering spares promptly.
The ideal candidate will hold a UK Part 66 B1 license (or equivalent) and have at least 3 years of experience in a line maintenance environment, with up‑to‑date knowledge of airworthiness legislation. Strong communication skills, a customer‑focused approach, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team at all levels are essential. Flexibility to meet deadlines, adaptability to change, and a commitment to driving improvements are highly valued. Candidates should also demonstrate a solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation and proficiency in IT.
This full‑time role will be based in Bristol Airport and will be permanent nights, 4x4 shift pattern.
