  • US MedComms works with both US and Global brand teams to create powerful medical communications solutions for early lifecycle assets.
  • US Marketing works with clients across the Rx, Medical Device, OTC and Consumer Device categories to deliver compelling communications and promotional solutions to Healthcare Professionals for in‑market assets.
About the Role

The Medical team is responsible for creating scientific content that aligns to our clients’ strategic plans. The Associate Medical Writer works within the Medical team and creates synergy between science, technical information and commercial objectives to help deliver compelling programmes across key Lucid Group accounts. As an Associate Medical Writer, you would be an ambassador for Lucid Group, helping build the profile and client base of the company.

An Associate Medical Writer at Lucid is responsible for:

  • Contributing to the development of high‑quality medical content based on complex scientific/clinical data.
  • Ensuring factual accuracy in all content development.
  • Understanding medical affairs and educational objectives.
  • Building good working relationships with clients and demonstrating a customer‑first mentality.
  • Delivering appropriate communication for each client.
  • Delivering against a client brief and completing actions in good time and on budget.
  • Acquiring outstanding knowledge of client data and understanding both therapy area and commercial objectives.
What We’re Looking For

Essential Criteria:

  • A degree, or higher, in a scientific, medical or life sciences field.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Experience writing for a variety of medical/scientific audiences.
  • A curious and inventive approach to problem‑solving.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience managing their own time in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively and efficiently in a cross‑capability team.
  • Experience working with clients or customers.
  • Confidence and interest in exploring ways to engage with AI to support efficient and adaptable ways of working.
