What you’ll be doing
Within the Construction environment, you’ll be buying materials, managing large projects, ensuring health and safety, and providing customer service across roughly 400 developments nationwide. You’ll help bring fresh ideas and commercial skills to manage people, budgets and costs, supporting the Site Manager through to project completion.
Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
- Work with the Sales Team to ensure regular Sales/Build meetings are attended, procedures are followed, and show‑home inspections are carried out.
- Accept responsibility for duties delegated by the Site Manager, including deputising when required.
- Ensure the on‑site construction team is fully resourced, clearly directed, and receives the necessary support in communication, training and workload organisation.
- Deliver excellent customer service in line with company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience working within established build programmes.
- Assertive delivery of targets by on‑site teams and trades/labour.
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or NVQ Level in Construction Management, or a fully experienced tradesman with extensive knowledge of construction trades.
- In‑depth knowledge of all aspects of construction trade, and relevant legislation (Health & Safety, NHBC requirements, Building Regulations).
- Good knowledge of customer service issues.
